ANDEAN MYSTICISM WORKSHOPS
"Thank you to Elizabeth B. Jenkins, Chrystelle Hadjikakou and all the participants that attended our workshops this summer. It was so amazing and it was wonderful to meet all of you. Now that our 16 day marathon has come to an end and you are all safely home, we want to thank you for coming. We commend you for showing up to do this deeply transformative work. Our gratitude goes to Elizabeth for creating the container for these experiences with such love, humour and strength. It allowed us all to expand our personal bubbles and also get a taste of what it is like to be part of a conscious collective. How great that felt! Our Seqe lines now spread to Big Island Hawaii, Tumbler Ridge BC, Bethlehem Penn, Frederick Maryland, Caledon, Teeswater, Guelph, Huntsville, Ont., Sprucedale, Mexico City, Mex., California and our Owen Sound based Paqo community, who welcomes its new members."
Here is an article written for the September 2010 issue of Mosaic, by one of the participants, Sandra describing her experiences.
Andean Mystics in Grey-Bruce
(The Paqos (Initiates) Come to Town)
Standing with my back pressed firm against the cave wall, I journey back through my life and lineage. In my mind's eye, I see distant ancestors working lands in Scotland and Ireland. I feel my connection with them and with Mother Earth, Pacha Mama, who nurtures and supports us all. As I travel back through time, I am releasing heavy energies, hoocha, that has accumulated in my energy field and DNA through life traumas. The chill limestone at my back seems to absorb all that I am ready to let go; the cave wall feels like a comforting presence and I am grateful.
Guided by Elizabeth B. Jenkins, my teacher, I journey forward again through my family history and gather the many gifts bequeathed to me by my heritage. The world is glowing when I open my physical eyes again. I am seeing from a changed perspective and I like the new view. This was my experience on Day 5 of our Introduction to Andean Mysticism course. Our group of 15 students spent the morning at Bruce Caves outside Oxenden; it provided a unique transformation for each of us.
Throughout August in the beautiful rolling hills of St. Vincent Township along the Big Head River, a total of 40 students participated in transformative experiences like this one. It was an incredible adventure! Elizabeth was our teacher and co-learner in these explorations of nature's living energies. She has studied and taught the ancient traditions of the high Andes Mountains in Peru and around the world for over 20 years. Recently she led Les Stroud, Canadian Survivorman, on a journey that will air on Discovery Channel in September; the show title is Vanishing World. Elizabeth is a gifted guide, author and musician; she is also great fun. Besides the introductory course, participants from across Canada, the U.S, and Mexico studied healing, teaching, and tour guiding skills to strengthen our capacities to be of service to all. These courses provided wonderful opportunities for learning and connecting.
Elizabeth B. Jenkins teaches and writes experientially, guiding students through exercises that facilitate increasing connection. She shows us how to create and strengthen relationships. This is important both within ourselves, such as connecting with our intuition, shadow, and spirituality; and outside ourselves, such as connecting with the earth, sun, stars, rivers, trees, other humans, and the many nature beings who surround and synergize with us. In the Inka tradition, there are no objects; even man-made items like pens and paper have an essence or spirit. All are living beings to whom we relate. This is a vastly different paradigm than our usual world view.
I believe this is a world view which we, as a culture, would benefit from embracing. We must learn to live harmoniously on our little planet. It is imperative! To learn more about Elizabeth, these powerful teachings, and other courses available through The Heart Speaks, and www.inka-online.com.
I wish each of you joyful connecting! Sandra Howe, Wingham, ON

THE BODY TALK SYSTEM - Check it out!
Recently The Heart Speaks, plus a number of paqos attended an information session about "The Body Talk" System. It was given by Cherie Carpenter from Barrie who is a long time practitioner of this simple, yet effective form of therapy. Body Talk is based on the knowledge that our bodies contain all the innate wisdom they need to heal themselves.
When a body is operating at its optimal level, each system, cell and atom is in constant communication with each other at all times. Through exposure to the stresses of day-to-day life, these lines of communication can become compromised which can lead to a decline in physical, emotional and/or mental health.
During a session a Body Talk practitioner uses neuromuscular feedback to locate the imbalances in a client's body. Next, the practitioner holds the areas that have been highlighted by the testing procedure and taps gently on the head and sternum. By tapping on the head, the brain becomes aware of and repairs the communication link. Tapping on the sternum or heart ensures that the new information is stored throughout the whole body.
More information is available at 3 websites www.bodytalksystem.com www.bodytalkcentral.com www.ibaglobalhealing.com
Cherie will be giving 2 introductory courses - BODY TALK ACCESS - on August 9/10 and October 30/10 at the New Life Centre in Owen Sound. For further details contact Shirley McDougall at shirlmc@bmts.com

We are beginning with an article written by Bruce Lipton concerning the Eagle and Condor Prophesy. Enjoy
Eagle and Condor Prophesy
"AMONG THE GIFTS that Native Americans bring us is a most unusual one—a heartening prophecy from the natives of the Andes. According to their tradition, centuries ago, humans took two diverging paths: the path of the condor and the path of the eagle. The condor path, which has come to represent the peoples of the Southern Hemisphere, is associated with the heart, the intuitive, and the spiritual. The eagle path, which represents the peoples of the Northern Hemisphere, is associated with the brain, the rational, and the material. For the past 500 years, the power of the eagle—mental and materialistic—has dominated that of the condor’s spirituality and heart-centeredness. But according to the prophecy, this is about to change.
The indigenous tradition among the peoples of the South has divided time into epochs called pachacutis, each spanning roughly 500 years. According to the Aztec Calendar—a.k.a. The Sacred Stone Calendar of the Mexican People—the Fourth Pachacuti that began in 1492 was characterized by the prophecies as a time of turmoil, struggle, and conflict. Since October 12, 1992, we’ve been in the Fifth Pachacuti, which is said to be a time of partnership and union, where eagle and condor “fly together in the sky as equals.”1
And not a moment too soon. In our evolutionary journey through basal paradigms that have taken us deep into the realms of spirituality and materialism over these many centuries, the one thing these paradigms had in common was their disconnection from the sacred feminine and, consequently, from Earth itself. The very detachment and denial of the feminine in Western society has put us out of touch with the natural world. For centuries, the powers of unbalanced domination, empowered first by a He-God then by a He-Science, have forced our world further and further out of kilter to where we are on the brink of destroying the very ground upon which we stand.
Now, in its infinite sense of humor, the Universe is finally asking us to reconcile the hemispheres, left and right, north and south. This time of spiritual reunion, when we will link the sacred masculine and the sacred feminine, is not merely the province of indigenous spirituality or reconstituted goddess worship.
The Dalai Lama has also spoken of it. He says he will be the last Dalai Lama from the Himalayas, and the next one will likely be from the other high mountains, the Andes. Meanwhile, many international organizations have banded together under the banner of the Pachamama Alliance to foster this emergent human culture by helping the people of the condor and the people of the eagle share their gifts with one another."
